World Gospel Outreach (WGO) is a non-profit ministry that began in 1984 and is currently ministering to people both in Honduras and Belize. WGO Serve Teams are comprised of believers who come to Honduras or Belize for short term missions trips to serve for 7-10 days. They offer services such as general medicine, optical, dental, pharmaceuticals, children's ministry, construction, evangelism, and many other forms of outreach in neighborhoods of extreme poverty where care is not accessible. In Honduras, WGO ministers to over 100,000 people each year through Serve Teams.
Rancho Ebenezer is the children's ministry of WGO that provides long term care for misplaced and abandoned Honduran children. At Rancho Ebenezer the children are raised in family home settings by Christian couples, receive a bilingual Christian education, learn job skills and work ethic, learn to give back and serve others, and are mentored by Christian staff and mentor parents. While there, they are given opportunities to grow physically, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." - James 1:27
WGOKids is the child sponsorship program of World Gospel Outreach. It is the fund that supports individual children who are under our care at Rancho Ebenezer in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This program offers an opportunity to give an individual child, a sibling group, or all of the children (WGO ALLKids) hope for a far better future by financial partnership and prayer.
